Mr. John Bachman

John Bachman joined Haggai Institute more than 25 years ago. “H.I.’s strategy of accelerating evangelism through motivating and mobilizing national Christian leaders” first attracted John to the ministry. Now a valuable part of the team, he is passionate about “working with such a wonderful global community of men and women, committed to Jesus Christ, obeying the Great Commission.”

John has accompanied Dr. Haggai on various trips around the world, personally coordinating and planning many of those travels. In addition, he worked in Beijing, China, for two years, establishing an office for Haggai Institute. In his current role, John is responsible for collecting data related to global trends, conditions, events, and activities that impact H.I.’s training and alumni. He also gathers information about alumni and national ministries and helps with the production of various H.I. publications.

After attending Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium, John graduated summa cum laude from Southern California College (now Vanguard University), with a double major in Christian Education and Psychology. Before H.I., his professional career included working as the Manager of International Relations for Robert Schuller’s Hour of Power, managing a bookstore in Tunis, Tunisia, and serving as the interim pastor of an evangelical church in Valletta, Malta.

John lives with his wife, Cynthia, in Norcross, Georgia. Together they attend The Church of the Apostles, where John leads a small group and serves as an usher and communion chalice bearer.
