He has been elevated as Consul of Mozambique to the state of Espírito Santo in Brazil, and he traces the origin of God’s plan for his life to the time he graduated from the Haggai Institute seminar held in Campinas. Adilson Romualdo Neves shares with Roberto Bittencourt where the Lord has been leading him ever since.
The sole objective of accepting this new challenge as Consul is to continue to take Jesus to businessmen, utilizing the tools I have learned at Haggai Institute.
Pastor Adilson Romualdo Neves, Consul of Mozambique to the state of Espírto Santo in Brazil, is a precious alumni of Haggai Institute.
A national Haggai Institute alumnus (Campinas, 2005), Adilson Romualdo Neves, senior pastor of the New Alliance Evangelical Church, in Serra, state of Espírito Santo, in Brazil, was appointed last July to occupy the office of Consul of the Mozambique Republic to the Brazilian state where he lives. As Consul, Adilson began his activities in 2008; however, the full-time operation only started earlier this year, in January.
He traces the origin of God’s plan to the time he graduated from the Haggai Institute seminar held in Campinas, in 2005. Back then, Adilson was encouraged to face God’s cultural mandate (Genesis 1: 28) and meet the needs of the corporate world, taking the Gospel to this segment in Brazil. His strategy was to open a business called Multipla Consulting and Training and to provide training through lectures and coaching in the areas of leadership, negotiation, people management, time management and corporate government.
"Through the dissemination of knowledge and using tools to evangelize, God opened for me the doors of two countries in África in 2008: Mozambique and Angola. In both countries I was given the opportunity to lead several training sessions. The impact of such training was so great that, in one of my trips, Mozambique’s government invited me to represent Mozambique in Brazil, working at their consulate in the city of Serra. I believe that it is another door that the Lord is opening to me to share the Word of God and Jesus Christ’s salvation to people that are excluded from the formal church outreach,” alumnus Adilson Romualdo explains.
Parallel to this ministry in the secular world, Adilson has also had the opportunity to participate as faculty in several Haggai Institute local seminars. During the 2008 Haggai Week, Adilson facilitated at the national FDS, preparing himself even more to serve as Haggai faculty and in other capacities related to his field of work: church pastor, writer, lecturer, coach and, now, Consul of Mozambique to Brasil.
He declares, “The sole objective of accepting this new challenge as Consul is to continue to take Jesus to businessmen, utilizing the tools I have learned at Haggai Institute. Besides, I want to offer my services to Haggai Institute, wherever necessary and within the range of my possibilities. I am very grateful to Haggai Institute for such a great vision and ministry in Brazil and in the world. I will be working closely with Haggai Institute in the coming years, taking advantage of all courses offered to improve my leadership skills. On my side, I will continue to present the H.I. ministry though my books, corporate websites, promotional folders of my private business and in my congregation and other opportunities. In 2009, I made arrangements to attend the People Management and Communication Seminar. "
As Mozambique Consul to the state of Espírito Santo, Adilson Romualdo will introduce to Brazilian businessmen the opportunities for business in Mozambique in the area of trade, local business, tourism and culture. Recently, Romualdo held a seminar for Brazilian’s businessmen in Vitória, which was named the “First Commerce Capixaba Mission.” It was attended by businessmen interested in agriculture, construction, fashion, urban infrastructure, metallurgy, cold storage plants, education and several áreas that are in a growing scale in Mozambique and in the Common Market. This was recently created in the so-called Africa Austral, which carries the acronym SADC, which stands for Southern Africa Development Community. This type of new and growing market will allow the trade of products and services through the region, improving trade with neighboring countries.
More than anything else, with Adilson Romualdo at the helm, it has provided a marvelous opportunity to take Jesus fairly and squarely into the marketplace.
