"Think national" was the underlining theme of the largest seminar ever held in Brazil.

It was one of the many events of the anniversary jubilations organized to celebrate thirty years of Haggai Institute in Brazil.

It was also the most impressive.

Between September 26th and October 3rd of 2009, as many as 364 people from 22 states in Brazil, gathered in the city of Águas de Lindóia, São Paulo, to participate in the largest training session ever held in the history of H.I. in Brazil. To serve them came 28 faculty members and 27 members of the staff and support teams. The idea of the enormous gathering was to lead participants to get the bigger picture of God’s purpose, and to think nationally.

Everything followed the step by step schedule that had been planned meticulously and intensely many months before. The sheer magnitude of responsibility served as propeller and inspiration to all involved with organization and facilitation.

Mornings were devoted to thought-provoking classes and each afternoon there were group dynamics during which every participant got the opportunity to apply theory to specific ministerial situations. It was a powerful time of sharing, with discussion and deliberation.

Faculty members and rotating chairpersons secured for the event the quality of excellence. The relevant and contemporary morning devotionals set the right focus for the rest of the day.

Few eyes remained dry on the final day when there was a celebration of the Lord’s Supper. At the solemn graduation ceremony, everyone renewed his or her commitment to national evangelism.

Eye-boggling but heart warming – participants of eight concurrent Haggai Institute seminars pose in Brazil.
